I'm first and foremost a tabla player and percussionist. I am a member of many ensembles in the Front Range area of Colorado, including my own group, Kortet, based around my playing of the West African Kora. Building cajons has always been a supplement to my passion for performing and recording music. And this is how I know what sounds good, what does and doesn't work in cajon design, and what pros are looking for, even if they don't know it yet.
